Community Service

Members of the original team continue to meet annually to renew friendships, rotating among our hometowns.  At each reunion we work together on a community service project that is organized by the hometown host(s).  These projects are an integral part of our weekends, and give us yet another opportunity to LAUGHH!

April, 2013:  The team worked on roof rafters for a HABITAT FOR HUMANITY house in Tampa, FL.

July, 2012:  The team performed house repairs and painting for a needy family in Kansas City, MO.

July, 2011:  The team organized medical and surgical supplies at PARTNERS FOR WORLD HEALTH in Portland, ME.

June, 2010:  The team cleared a vacant lot for the use of a Community Garden in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

July, 2009:  The team donated books and baked apple dumplings to sell to support women in Haiti through GLOBAL HANDS, in Lake Geneva, WI.

July, 2008:  The team served at The Loading Dock, cleaning and organizing donated building materials in Baltimore, MD.

July, 2007:  The team organized donated medical and surgical supplies for Project CURE in Denver, CO.

July, 2006:  The team organized a clothes closet for Operation Breakthrough in Kansas City, MO.

January, 2006:  Team members organized medical and surgical supplies for MEDSHARE in Atlanta, GA.

October, 2005:  Financed Continuing Education for our pre-school teacher in Tres Marias, Peru.

July, 2005:  The team painted a half-way house in Portland, ME.
